What are the benefits of Training?

With more than 15 years experience in the Fitness Industry I aim to share my expertise to help clients reach beyond their goals, while providing a space that is welcoming to everyone and is fun to train in.

In order to live your best life we know that building strength and an efficient aerobic system are fundamental to living a long healthy life.

As we age, we can lose 16% to 40% of our strength and muscle mass. This is very concerning not only from an aesthetic viewpoint but also from a life expectancy point of view.

Lower skeletal muscle mass is a direct indicator of mortality risk. Losing strength and power affects our bodies resiliency when it comes to any sort of physical activity.

Our aerobic system is a key part of keeping us alive longer as well. Our heart is responsible for pumping blood around the body, supplying oxygen to working muscles. Having a healthy aerobic system leads to a lower resting heart rate, quicker recovery and better sleep!

Overall, establishing a consistent strength and conditioning routine has many benefits.

The list goes on and on. The good news is establishing a regular training routine as part of your weekly life will cover such a multitude of health benefits that it's a sure fire way to make sure you live a happier, healthier and functional life as you age.

Whether your goal is getting ripped and sexy or simply reducing your blood pressure and living longer. Both are great goals but the big picture benefits are so vast that you will also set yourself up fwith longer life expectancy, a better quality of life, the ability to do all the things you want to do and you'll also send less time at the doctors office!
